We pass the shallow valley of the Mulas stream at about 900 meters above sea level and where we find a small, modern shelter. Although it is a private property it will not be too improper to make use of the picnic table to have a snack and short rest. Behind this shelter we can see the old corral and shelter of Bugalhedo. It is a good example of the old shepherd abrigos (shelters)which are scattered here and there throughout the Serra Amarela. It is built of stone, circular in form with a false cupula roof with a cover of vegetation.
