Built entirely of stone, the Tourém Forno do Povo one of the components of the structural heritage of Barroso that best demonstrates the ancient traditions and form of communal life of the local population. Bread was collectively baked for several people at a time, and whilst waiting for the bread to bake it became a meeting place. It is no longer in use, except occasionally on special occasions but can be visited.
