Parada is a charming and typical village of the Alto Minho uplands. From its narrow and labyrinthine streets, inherited from medieval times, to quirky nooks and sturdy granite houses, Parada is clearly alive and invites a visit.
All along the route through the interior of the village we have the opportunity to see traditional architecture, medieval pavements, the pillory and the parish church.
There are several tourism houses here, these being examples of good practice in the recovery of old buildings.
