Here it is easy to drop down to the river and enjoy seeing some of the old water mills of Parada (now mostly abandoned), examples of traditional architecture and ingenious engineering systems and which demonstrate how our ancestors harnessed so wisely the available natural resources. They are small, granite stone constructions of simple and rudimentary architecture.

Not to be missed either is Gola Pool, a small reservoir of clear and refreshing water, fed by the waters of the Mulas and Ponte streams.
