We find ourselves on the monumental Medieval Bridge of Quintão. From its size and structural characteristics, this ancient crossing, adapted for horses, carts and people, must have been an important crossing point of the river Homem It consists of a perfect single arch seated on the rocky outcrops and featuring short, broad intrados of fashioned granite stonework.
Today it serves only for pedestrian and animal movement, retaining its importance through linking the lands of Carvalheira parish to those of the neighbouring parishes of Cibões and Brufe.
