From this point we can survey the fantastic landscape of the river Homem valley. We can spot several clusters of houses on both sides of the valley shedding light on the logic of locating such places and the use of land. Immediately surrounding the villages are the agricultural areas followed by woodland. At the bottom of the valley, in the more fertile areas of alluvium, small cultivated plots and pastures also appear.

Below this steep hillside, downstream from the point where we find ourselves, can be seen a large waterfall with a total height of about 150 meters.
